Erie, PA Antique cast iron waffle iron by Griswold, designated as their "American" pattern. This piece features the classic design of a standard waffle iron, crafted from nonstick, heavy duty cast iron. While it hasn't been tested (much to the chagrin of this writer, who loves waffles) it still appears to have a tight enough seal to keep waffle batter from spilling out around the edges.
