Germany, Rad. A Reich Labour Service Model 1937 Leader’s Hewer, Damascus Blade Archive slight soiling on the reverse(Reichsarbeitsdienst Hauer). A rare Reich Labour Service (RAD) Model 1937 Leaders Hewer, measuring 395 mm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 255 mm long magnetic Damascus metal blade, bearing a fuller on each side. The obverse formerly bore a acid etched inscription of ARBEIT ADELT (LABOUR ENNOBLES), while the reverse formerly bore an inscription of FR HERVORRAGENDE LEISTUNGEN KONSTANTIN HIERL (FOR OUTSTANDING MERIT
